Flux Sound Healing

Flux is an immersive sound healing experience. As music director and arranger I compose and improvise across every show, blending live strings with synthetic textures into something that sits between composition and performance. Played at the Unitarian Church and The Old Market in Brighton.

About

Music has been the great obsession of my life. I've spent twenty years exploring it across genres, instruments and ideas. Performing, composing, arranging, and always trying to understand what makes it move people.

I've toured the UK, played on records that reached BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music, scored a film for David Shrigley, and arranged records that have found their way onto stages and airwaves. Alongside that I spent four years as head sound engineer at The Folklore Rooms, as it grew from a room above a pub into an internationally recognised grassroots folk venue.

Teaching is part of the same exploration. Whether you're an artist looking to bring a bigger sound to your music, or someone who wants to understand music from the inside out, I'd love to work with you.

Collaborators

Being able to fill many roles within music means I get to collaborate with some fantastic artists and brands across the UK and internationally. Over the past year I've been live music director for Flux, curating, composing and performing deep listening sessions built from well known compositions, original works and free improvisation. As a performer I tour with several established acts across a range of genres.

Teaching

Learn music from the inside out

Private tuition built around the Musical Theory of Relativity, a framework I've spent years developing. It connects theory, ear training and creative practice across all instruments and levels. Lessons run from guyteaches.com.
